Signal Box & Level Crossing, Station Road
Everything associated with the Station, including the Station Hotel, is still in situ.......except the Station itself which was moved to a site nearer the town centre in the 1960s.

The railway at Billingham
Viewed from Davis Bridge, On the bend is the Station Road level crossing and footbridge; but the station has long been moved to a site further east nearer the town centre.

Billingham 1st railway station (site), County Durham
Believed to have been opened by the Leeds Northern Railway in 1852 (needs confirmation) on the line from Leeds via Northallerton, this station closed in 1966 when it was replaced by the current station about a mile further east.
View west towards Norton and Stockton. Taken from roughly the same position as Image] so as can be seen, no trace remains except for the NER bridge on which the camera is positioned.
