Grassy moorland with Waupley New Inn beyond
The farmhouse at Waupley New Inn Farm appears currently (Oct. 2011) to be unoccupied. Despite appearances in this image the buildings are by no means isolated - the busy A171 passes in front, beyond the moorland.

Gorse Bushes on Waupley Moor
This photograph shows a view of some of the extensive gorse bushes that line sections of the edge of the A171 road that runs between Whitby and Guisborough. The picture was taken on Waupley Moor near the junction of Grinkle Lane with the A177 - looking in a westerly direction towards Gerrick Moor. The A171 road is just visible in the left-hand side of the picture.
