I was sitting at my table at the Godolphin Arms, Marazion, enjoying my Christmas lunch, and thinking how lucky I was to be enjoying such wonderful sunshine when the rest of the country was under a blanket of snow!

Quaker Meeting House Marazion
Built in 1688 in what is now Beacon Road, the meeting house is still being used for worship by the Quakers. It is also the oldest building in Market Jew - the old name for Marazion.

Marazion from St Michael's Mount
A shot of the town of Marazion from between the ramparts of the castle. The tide is still low enough to allow people to use the causeway between the mainland and the island.

Marazion - Former Town Well
This is the former Town Well for Marazion, now planted with flowers. The small plaque on the wall beside it states "This Town Well was decommissioned in 1870 when the town was provided with mains water."
