Further obstacles to progress along Berry Pomeroy footpath 6 after Image Not only is there a herd of frisky-looking bullocks across the route of the path, but you may be able to see an electric fence in front of the camera, leading us around to the left.

Stiff bolt, gate, Berry Farm
A gate that took enormous effort to free, so adding to the woes of following Berry Pomeroy footpath 6 (Image] and Image]), effort that has caused repeated lower back pain ever since. Thanks a lot, farmer.

Problematic gates, Berry Farm
These gates on Berry Pomeroy footpath 6 are locked with a combination padlock, so the only way past them is to climb them. This proved extremely difficult, especially as the gates are not secured in the centre, so swing to and fro. I have reported this to Devon County Council.
