Popular summer River Dart cruises regularly ply between Dartmouth and Totnes, tides permitting. Boatbuilding continues on the Baltic Wharf at Totnes.

Further south than Image] with houses on Baltic Way, again seen from the Dart Valley Trail. Across the Dart are the fkats at Quayside; behind on the hillside is new housing on Home Reach Avenue and associated cul-de-sacs.

Houses, Baltic Wharf development, Totnes
The houses, seen from the Dart Valley Trail, are on Sawmill Close and Baltic Way. The development required the re-routing of the Trail several years ago, although it's still shown on maps on its original route.

St Peter's Quay, Totnes
Modern buildings which have been built with features that are reminders of the older wharfside warehouses. On the opposite bank of the River Dart, the design of buildings is more utilitarian.
