A building singled out by Cherry & Pevsner for architectural praise among the elegant frontages on The Plains, with its end bows and porch. It also appears, rather obscured by a tree and a lamp standard, in Image Curiously, it is the only building of the first 11 frontages on the west side of The Plains not to be listed.
