Hillfield Village
Trees have certainly gone since Image was taken, but it's difficult to tell if there has been any new building. This is a wider view taken from the same spot. The farmhouse that forms the original core of the farm at Hillfield is listed but is not visible in this image.

Steep hill southwest from Hillfield
There is a sharp right-hand bend at the bottom of the hill where the lane crosses a brook; it comes down from Wadstray.

The lane to Cotterbury (behind the camera) crosses a brook. Bugford Lane at Bugford Cross
A lane to the left goes north to Hemborough Post SX8352. The entrance to Bugford Farm is on the right. Bugford lane continues for about 700m to the A3122 Dartmouth Road at Bugford Lane End.
