The path on the left connects the two parts of Garlic Rea. The terrace ahead is actually on North View Road, and there is indeed a splendid view to the north across Tor Bay, with cruise ships at anchor.

A pole in the middle of the road
North View Road is narrow enough before it shrinks to a footpath, but the 'no loading' pole has been stuck right in the middle of the tarmac. Let's hope the emergency services or the refuse team aren't too put out.
