Entrance to Wrens Court, Upton
On the left is JC Domestic Appliances ("Wanted: dead or alive: domestic appliances) on Forest Road, just visible in Image But the alley beside it no longer leads to Vigurs car body repair shop. That has been replaced by a development of eight houses named Wrens Court.

Building site, St James Road, Torquay
Jewson's premises shown in Image have been demolished and new building is taking place in the former quarry. This will take the form of 24 flats and an office building at the rear. Perhaps this is what is being constructed against the rear quarry wall.
