Trees at the entrance to the Abbey Coach House, 103 Dawlish Road, Teignmouth
On the right is a Holm Oak, Quercus ilex, signature tree of Regency resorts. At the back, left, is a Monterey Cypress, Cupressus macrocarpa. Dense foliage and low light create deep mysterious shadows. The drive is crossed by an iron footbridge.
