Manaton: Church of St Winifred
The church dates from the late 15th century and has a typical granite interior with wagon-roofs with carved bosses. The rood-screen, which dates from about 1490, has eleven bays, extending across the nave and both aisles, and retains much of its ancient colour and gilding, although all the human faces have been disfigured.

St Winifred's church, Manaton
The pale tower makes this church a prominent landmark, and presents some exposure difficulties given the contrast with the embattled south side.
