Forder Gardens
"Forder Gardens was built in 1898 by the Rt Hon Sir Harry Trelawney Eve" http://www.fordergardens.co.uk/index.html . The two buildings give the impression of being rather grand lodges at the entrance to a stately home, but they stand alone. The lane they are seen from runs along the edge of the National Park, so they are just within it.

Conifer plantation, Parke
The path from the new footbridge provides a round trip for a walk at Parke, but the paths on this western side of the river are much less frequented, mainly because they do not follow the river bank.
