57-59 Ley Lane, Kingsteignton
This pair of houses clearly predates the council housing to the east. A map of 1898 shows Ley Lane's west end ending with this short return to Chudleigh Road, where the junction is named Leylane Cross on a large-scale Historic England map. The house numbers fit into the sequence of each of the roads. The white house on the right (84 Chudleigh Road) is seen from the front in Image
