Cherry & Pevsner write: "A complex of late C18 / early C19 woollen mills. The two and three storey stuccoed stone rubble buildings with slated upper floors under asbestos slate roofs were cottages, with the mill behind". The road is Mill Lane.

Buckfast Upper Mill
Part of the Buckfast Abbey complex and including the Monastic Produce Shop. This is a restored early 19th century woollen mill with a long launder supplying water to a reproduction overshot waterwheel by Westward Mouldings, Gunnislake, Cornwall.
