In the 1980s, this shop used to be Do-It-All (as owned then by WHSmith). Since then, this building has been home to a variety of companies. However, the external boards hid a glimpse of the past... Clearly, it was cheaper to paint and board over the original branding.

Spencers Shopping Mall, Telford
On the edge of the main Telford Shopping Mall, this ex. furniture store consists of a number of individual stalls.
Over half now appear to be empty due to lack of trade. A couple of years ago the nearest car park was designated "long term parking" with high charges, this meant a dramatic fall in the number of shoppers using it and therefore not passing this store on their way into the main shopping area.
This building has now been converted into a "Wilkinson's" household store, 2010.

Southwater Phase 1 - new developments at Telford Town Centre
The first part of the multi-million pound redevelopments at Telford Town Centre, the Southwater works. This phase has involved the relandscaping of the large lake, and construction of a series of hotels, bars, restaurants, a cinema, a new library and so on, and officially opened in mid Oct 2014. The Friends' Meeting Point House on the left survives from the previous era.

The Wheelwright
Even modern shopping malls have little gems tucked away. The roof space in part of the Telford Shopping Centre has a number of figures showing old trades of the area. Here is a Wheelwright, at one time a very common trade in this area.

The central library building in Telford
Southwater One I believe it is known as and houses Council Offices and part of the local university. Nice facility.

Coach Central, Telford
Telford's shopping centre is surrounded by roads called Grange Central, Lawn Central, Woodhouse Central and Coach Central; Coach Central runs along the south west side and includes the bus station, from which a bus can be seen emerging here.
