West Mercia Police Information
West Mercia is the fourth largest geographic police area in England and Wales. The force area is divided into five territorial policing areas, which match the boundaries of our local authorities.
While West Mercia is predominantly rural, it also contains some densely populated urban areas and many market towns. To ensure we strike the right balance between addressing national and local policing priorities, the force focuses its activities on three priority areas:
- Serving
- Protecting the public
- Making the difference

Priorities
1 Oct 2018 | Residents are struggling with parking in this area - this is a narrow street and many of the houses are built without drives. They have stated this matter can affect quality of life, and often concerns that start over matters such as these can escalate into larger ones |
1 Oct 2018 | It is reported that young persons are present in the area of Trinity Place, Dawley being noisy, shouting using offensive language, littering the area and throwing stones at properties. |
11 Jun 2018 | Motorbikes around the Malinslee area, particularly near to the centre. They are going off road, along footpaths and grassed areas, aside from being a nuisance this can be dangerous to the wider community. |
