The B6359 at Dingleton
Many cars have been abandoned due to adverse road conditions in the Scottish Borders after days of heavy snow. This is near the junction with the road into Harleyburn Court on the site of the former Dingleton Hospital on the right.

An interesting tree by Dingleton Road, Melrose
While I was walking down Dingleton Road towards Melrose I noticed a carved feature on a tree on the other side of a boundary wall in the former Dingleton Hospital Estate grounds. It resembles a boar or bear’s head. The eye and nostril are natural features on the bark but the outline of the head has been carved out and some time ago by the look of things.
