Johnscleugh
Johnscleugh is an isolated farm on the north side of the valley of the Whiteadder Water. It's seen here across the valley from the minor road there and past an old railway van used, (at least in the past), as a farm store.

Rough Clough Ford
The ford at Rough Clough is signed both at the ford and at the turning at Packman's Grave. I cannot prove this but I suspect the ford signs have been moved from the former ford on the Kingside Burn further down the same road:http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3140483. The ford is now culverted and the footbridge gone as seen in my photograph: https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5830247
