Burnham-on-Sea : St Andrew's Church of England Junior School
The original St Andrew's School occupied a site at the top of College Street on the sea front. The school moved to its present site in 1973 and is now housed in a modern building standing in its own grounds between Dunstan Road and Love Lane.

Telephone Exchange, Burnham-On-Sea
Situated in Dunstan Road off the B3139 Oxford Street, this TE replaced the Manual TE in nearby Highbridge during the 1960s. Besides Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge, this TE also serves Bason Bridge, Berrow, East Huntspill, Edithmead, Watchfield and West Huntspill nearby. The metal jib on the roof which hoists the TE equipment through the doors below it can be seen in this photo. This TE has (01278) 78xxxx, 79xxxx numbers plus others, the (01278) referring to the Bridgwater group of TEs, and its postcode is TA8 1ER.
