The Maltshovel, Bridgwater
Another view of Image from North Street, with the mini roundabout at the corner of Wembdon Road and Alexandra Road. Most references to the pub seem to split the word in two, ie "malt shovel", but the sign clearly considers it one.

This particular benchmark appears to have been the victim of an impact, probably vehicular. It is on the front wall of the Maltshovel, which is on a busy road and beside a roundabout.
