A new junction and a telephone box
This particular junction of St Michael Road and Ryesland Way is now home to a call box and some greenery. However, in the last century it was where the old Baptist church used to stand before it was demolished and a new church built just metres south of it. The telephone box now contains a defibrillator.

Creech Baptist church
The Zion chapel used to stand just a short distance up the road in the past. The movement first came about in the early 1800s with a Sunday school and temporary meeting room. By 1875 land had been purchased and the old chapel founded a year later. This served well until it was demolished in 1983 and this one created.
Today's modern version happens to have a small café within, offering local produce, hot and cold drinks including speciality tea.
