Closed and sealed, to await its fate. This kind of independent refreshment stop was common on Britain's A roads 50 years ago, but alas, few remain.

St Barnabas Church, Ham

Former Hillside Cafe and Tea Rooms, Ham
Adjoining the site of a former fuel station that was off to the left on the A303. It appears to have been a pair of houses once, rather than a pub. There was once a smithy across the road, so perhaps the smith lived here.

Closed down many years ago despite a good position at the top of a climb (up Ham Hill - not the only Ham Hill in the area) onto the Blackdown Hills.
