Closed and sealed, to await its fate. This kind of independent refreshment stop was common on Britain's A roads 50 years ago, but alas, few remain.

St Barnabas Church, Ham
The gable has a plaque giving a date of 1903. "As the Mission Church of St Barnabas, Ham, has no electricity, services are only held in the summer" http://www.combestnicholas.org.uk/about_the_parish/Church%20Annual%20report%202010 .

Former Hillside Cafe and Tea Rooms, Ham
Adjoining the site of a former fuel station that was off to the left on the A303. It appears to have been a pair of houses once, rather than a pub. There was once a smithy across the road, so perhaps the smith lived here.
