Vintage Clothes shop in Broad Street, Somerton
Vintage clothes shop in Broad Street, Somerton. This (aptly named) road used to be full of shops and a bank but gradually the centre of shopping moved around the corner and footfall decreased. However, several new businesses have opened recently with more to come. This is one of three shops who now focus on vintage and antique goods

London House, Somerton
The barbers have been here for a good few years. The building is from the early nineteenth century and is made largely from local materials, with Welsh slate roof tiles. Grade II listed.

The coronation trough
Edward VII's crowning was marked with this elegant feature. It is a gas lantern, water fountain and horse trough all in one; the trough overflows into dog bowls for added measure. Now used for flower displays it was cast in Coalbrookdale in 1902 for T.C. Head, the local ironmonger. Restored for Queen Elizabeth's Golden Jubilee, Grade II listed.
