Compton Dundon tithe barn

Old Milestone by the B3151, Compton Dundon Parish
Stone post (plate lost) by the B3151, in parish of COMPTON DUNDON (SOUTH SOMERSET District), North of village pub, back of pavement on low wall with wooden fence, on East side of road. LSCC iron plate, erected by the Langport, Somerton & Castle Cary turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Re-located from further North in the village.
Inscription once read:- : (4¼ / GLASTONBURY / SOMERTON / 3) :
Milestone Society National ID: SO_SOGB03.

A short distance
