St Stephen's Close
A terrace of early 20th Century housing. In the background is St Stephen's Church, dedicated in 1907, replacing an iron mission hall dating from 1880, itself a replacing an earlier mission chapel of 1869. It is now occupied by a distributor of motor parts.

St Stephen's Close bungalows, Ludlow
Between Upper Galdeford and Lower Galdeford. Originally, bungalow was used in English for a lightly-built house, with a veranda and one storey. In current UK usage it is a convenient word for any one-storey dwelling.
