Bridleway back to Woodhouse Farm
Initially I was mystified at the fact that this gate (and a couple of others on this bridleway) was not just bolted, but chained & locked shut. Not a problem when you're walking, but it would clearly be an inconvenience to a horserider. A sign at the far end then informed me that the bridleway was closed for the day, without giving an explanation. Too late; Daft Dog & I had already walked the whole thing.
