Micklewood Farmhouse and entranceway
This magnificent farmhouse dates from the 1680s, but with significant alterations in the 18th & 19th centuries. It stands on the site of an older building, and the internal layout suggests that some parts of that may well be incorporated into the present construction. Internally, it apparently retains many 17th & 18th century features of decor - fireplaces, tiling, panelling, cupboards, staircases etc. It was Grade II* listed http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101366692-micklewood-farmhouse-longnor#.WbrYFdQrLGg in 1952 (the listing details linked here have the farm marked at OS grid SO502984, which would put it roughly on top of The Lawley hill, a couple of miles to the SE of its true location)
