Bench and memorial area near Harnage House
A well maintained, beautiful and thoughtful corner of land at a footpath intersection. The quotation is from a Robert Frost poem, The Road Not Taken, which describes two potential walking routes, but has intimations of life path choices. Pause for thought for all walkers.

Memorial bench below Harnage House
Named for a Jenny and with the inscription ' The path not taken'. It has lovely views. What a lovely way to be remembered.
I wonder who Jenny was? She was obviously held in the highest esteem.

A pine tree with a distant rainbow
The wind sprung up here, rocking the noble pine and the distant rainbow still dances over Shrewsbury town.

Rainbow looking north from Harnage, Cound
The rainbow is finding gold in Shrewsbury. The field in the foreground is puddling up - on relative open, upper ground this indicates over intensive agriculture and poor soil maintenance. Further north, the long low brow of Haughmond Hill is on the horizon.
