Shrewsbury National Grid Substation
This is just to the east of Shrewsbury and had an extension built where a transformer was T'd off one of the Ironbridge/Legacy lines for extra feed to the area.

OS benchmark - Preston, railway bridge
An OS cutmark on the SE parapet of the railway bridge, last levelled in 1967 at 65.483m above Ordnance Datum Newlyn. It shows every sign of being a 1st Geodetic Levelling mark, partly due to the style and partly as it makes an appearance on the 1900 map, shown at 215.1ft above Liverpool datum.
