Francesca's Meadow, Preston Montford Field Studies Centre
This meadow at the Preston Montford Field Studies Centre is being created as a memorial to Francesca Griffith to benefit both wildlife and education. Francesca was a life long conservationist who worked for both Shropshire and Herefordshire Wildlife Trusts before sadly passing away too early. Well loved by her family, colleaues and friends this will be a fitting tribute to her work and spirit.

A5 about to cross the B4473
A common scene on this part of the A5: traffic queued behind a slow moving vehicle, in this instance a lorry which is only allowed to proceed at 40mph on this type of road. Traffic in the other direction benefits from an extra lane on the uphill grade.
