Y Lolfa mural
Y Lolfa, the Welsh language publisher, is based in Talybont and responsible for this fine mural just up from Y Llew Gwyn (The White Lion). It shows the first Plaid Cymru MP the late Gwynfor Evans, and below him Meic Stevens the singer, still very much alive.

Square house Tal-y-bont
Actually it isn't square as the bit on the extreme left is an extension. I am puzzled as to what it was. The black boarding above the doors looks rather like a toll house board. And what was the red and white pole at the side by the bridge over the Afon Ceulan?
