Sea View Place
In the background is Castle Theatre (see Image). Old maps suggest that when built in the mid 19th century, the original houses (all but the nearest one in this photo) would have had a sea view - subsequent development would suggest that this is no longer the case.

Sea View Place/Stryd Y Ro
Developed in the mid 19th century - the 1834 town plan which shows the road without any buildings at that stage, named it Beach Street, with the name Sea View Place at that stage being used by what is now Custom House Street (see Image).
