Children's playground, Llanbrynmair
English speakers are forbidden to fly kites, Welsh speakers are forbidden to ride motor-bikes. Why the distinction?

Part of Llanbrynmair
The village centre comprising village shop and a closed shop, the main road and the like. I've seen very old photos of this location taken by pioneering Welsh photographers and essentially this scene hasn't altered much since the 1880's.

Hiraeth hut, Llanbrynmair
Hiraeth being the untranslatable Welsh word for a kind of longing that's often tied to place, and the sense of that which can never be found again.

Early morning scene from The Wynnstay Arms, Llanbrynmair
The road is so quiet a cat can stroll across at leisure. A long day's walking on Glyndwr's Way awaits but before that there is the matter of a full fried breakfast to be consumed, strong black coffee to be drunk and lots of toast to be carb-loaded on board. It's a great life if you don't weaken.

Rabbit village at Machinations
Part of the rabbit village with miniature stone buildings including a castle keep. The rabbits mostly seem to prefer to live in the two-storey wooden barn, sheltered by the main building. The visitor centre houses the automata exhibition, café and playbarn.
