The village is nicely spread out, not too compact and seems interesting.

School House, Tregynon, Powys
I assume this was the Headmaster's or Headmistresses house, and next to it was the old village school. Now just two private homes I think. Nice examples though.

View over a hedgerow to Tregynon, Powys
On a sunny Good Friday morning this little village looks absolutely lovely, with lambs bleating, ewes growling in reply, birds twittering and spring is most definitely in the air.

Properties in Tregynon, Powys
Nice ones too. That large window may be a bit OTT but I assume it offers great views, and of course everyone gets to see your swanky Scandinavian designer furniture... or is it an office? Anyway, nice.

St. Cynon's church
Last resting place of Gwendolen Priscilla Scott Owen, killed in the railway accident at Abermule 1921. She was travelling to attend the funeral of her father. How fate heaps hurt upon hurt!

St Cynon church and churchyard, Tregynon
The church occupies a raised curvilinear churchyard and this together with the dedication to St Cynon [a 6th century missionary from Brittany] suggests an early medieval foundation. The present building is believed to date from 1787 with additions from 1893, and some much earlier features. It is grade 2 listed.
