St Cynon church and churchyard, Tregynon

The church occupies a raised curvilinear churchyard and this together with the dedication to St Cynon [a 6th century missionary from Brittany] suggests an early medieval foundation. The present building is believed to date from 1787 with additions from 1893, and some much earlier features. It is grade 2 listed.
