Public inconvenience
To add insult to injury the boarded-up toilets are in the corner of the 'Pay and Display' car park at Prees Heath. Prees Heath has been a favourite comfort stop for coaches and charabancs travelling from the West Midlands to the resorts on the North Wales coast. My mother remembers stopping there on a miners' outing in the early 1930s. It was beer for the men and crisps for the kids.

Heath Road
The old Heath Road now replaced by a dual carriageway on the A49 /A41. The bogs are closed and boarded up, the nearby cafe was closed early on account of it being a bank holiday.

The old road, now replaced to the east by a dual carriageway. There is a big car park here and several places serving food. Well placed on the A49 and A41 junction.

Parking area at Prees Heath
The parking area is a popular meeting spot for motorcyclists on a sunny spring Sunday. Prees Heath at the junction of the A41 and A49 has several transport cafes and a hostelry.
