The core of this one-time town house is 17th century, possibly earlier, as evidenced by assorted timbers visible internally. The brick facade and recessed shopfront are more recent additions, and the whole was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101254735-24-and-25-princess-street-shrewsbury#.XOZEzshKiUk & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1254735 in 1953.
