Former hospital, Murivance, Shrewsbury
Built as the Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in 1879-81 by C.O. Ellison, from Liverpool, and it has a Liverpudlian, as well as a Waterhousian, feel about it. The latter is attributable to the red Ruabon brick and terracotta. Grade II listed.
Converted to flats, Kingsland Bridge Mansions, in 2001.

Kingsland Bridge toll house, Shrewsbury
There is a toll for vehicles to cross the Kingsland Bridge in Shrewsbury. The tollkeeper's cottage is on the opposite side of the road. However, the toll is now collected using automatic gates. In the background, a car passes through the gate.
The Shropshire Way long distance path crosses this bridge. There is no charge for people crossing on foot.
