Rounded corners almost always enhance the streetscape. This late C18th house stands at the corner of Cross Hill. Grade II listed.

2 & 3 Cross Hill, Shrewsbury
In the narrow street, these two houses are really quite hard to photograph without a wide angle (and probably quite a lot more distortion). They date from around 1800, although no 3 at the far end shows alterations including the insertion of a wider ground floor window soon after that, suggesting it may have been used as a shop in the early 19th century. Talbot House at 6 Cross Hill, Shrewsbury
Considered likely to be early 18th century with subsequent alterations, and the original brick frontage has been rendered at some stage in the past.
