Path of redundant railway line
The slight ridge at the far side of this field is the embankment that carried the now redundant Llanymynech to Shrewsbury railway.

Bridge beside redundant railway
When the now redundant Llanymynech to Shrewsbury railway was constructed a drain was dug (possibly to build the embankment) on the north side for about 3 miles. This bridge carries a footpath over the water. It has also in recent times had a roof put on.
