This must be one of the more valuable fields for miles around, about a hectare of ground is covered in a photo electric panels. They offset the electricity used by the adjacent Lloyds Animal Feeds mill.

Montgomery Canal tree stub removal
The trees that were cut down late last year have now been uprooted and placed to dry and get frosted so that the soil falls off. They will eventually be burnt as part of the contracted jobs when full scale refurbishment begins. This section is awaiting the contractors who are present working on the Redwith to Pryce's Bridge section. Image]

Restoration work at Bridge 84
My wife admires the progress made on restoring the Montgomery Canal. There's a little more water in the channel than when Colin Park took Image] nine months previously, and a good deal has changed since 2016 when John Haynes took Image] and Image]!
