Pen-y-Dyffryn Country Hotel
A cosy hotel with a warm welcome as befits a former rectory. The building dates from about 1838 although it was extended during the subsequent decade. Nowadays it is Grade II listed with English Heritage Building ID: 255685.

Christ Church, Rhydycroesau
The church was founded in 1838but all that survives of the original building is the tower, as the nave and chancel had to be re-built in the 1880s.

Christ Church at Rhydycroesau
It looks quite an old church, and the surrounding cemetery definitely has an atmosphere about it. However, it was actually built between 1838 and 1886 - see http://www.acny.org.uk/4421/ for more info.
