Looking down on the platform, Clapham North tube station
A rather unusual configuration for the Northern Line, with one narrow island platform between the lines. The train is a southbound service to Morden.

Clapham North station, Northern line
This portion of the Northern Line was built as the City & South London Railway, the first deep-level tube line in London. Island platforms were originally standard on this line but most have now been rebuilt; Clapham North is one of the few survivors.
