91-137 Brixton Road
A fine, uniform terrace of the 1820s. Stock brick, the central group stuccoed. Mostly of three storeys, basement and later attic. First floor cast-iron balconies. Grade II listed.
The area was developed on land owned by Lord Holland as part of the Lambeth Wick Estate. The opening of Vauxhall Bridge in 1816 provided the impetus.
