This is about half way between Stockwell and Vauxhall tube stations. It is near the administrative border of Stockwell (See the sign on the lamp post near the green car -- it says Welcome to Stockwell).

Library, South Lambeth Road
One of many fruits in Lambeth of the largesse of sugar magnate Henry Tate. This is quite a quirky composition of 1888.
It is under threat in its current guise as Lambeth Council cuts its funding of libraries. Any solution will probably involve a coffee shop.
