Brunswick House, Wandsworth Road
Completely marooned amid the busy Vauxhall Cross road junction and the stodgy St George Wharf development (behind). Built in 1758, "a lone relic from a more respectable past" wrote Pevsner, with a pediment and semi-circular porch. Its name derives from a former occupant, the Duke of Brunswick; fittingly, it is now occupied by an architectural salvage dealer. Grade II* listed.
