Herbaceous border, Queen's Gate Gardens
A deep herbaceous border with a good variety of plants, including red poppies. The garden was open for Open Garden Squares Weekend. It was created in 1860.

Delivery time in a small London back street. Petersham Lane, which gives access to Petersham Place just beyond the first van, runs parallel to Gloucester Road on the left. Beyond the blue lorry is Queen's Gate Terrace.

Queen's Gate Gardens, reading the sunday papers
This garden has a large open lawn area, mature trees including cedar, and flower beds including roses. On a fine sunday morning it is pleasant to sit on a bench in the sun and read the newspaper. The garden was open to the public for Open Garden Squares Weekend.
