Courtfield Gardens, London, SW5
St Jude's Church from Courtfield Gardens. There is a large outdoor area on the left, much of it at a lower level (in the lower left hand corner of the picture part of a playground climbing frame can be seen). The building was designed by the George and Henry Godwin and built between 1867-70. The tower and the spire were added in 1879. It is now home to St Mellitus College. This is a college that was founded in 2007 by the Bishops of London and Chelmsford and it moved into this building in 2012. Although a Grade II* listed building it was renovated specifically for the college's theological training function.

St Mellitus College
The former parish church of St Jude's, Collingham Road, Kensington appears the same as ever on the outside. But inside it has been imaginatively transformed to provide accommodation and teaching space for St Mellitus College, a new Church of England theological college.
