The RGS on Kensington Gore is famous for its collection of atlases, maps and geographic books. It also has a famous lecture theatre which is still regularly used.

Prom interval - audience outside the Albert Hall
On a fine evening some of the audience have come outside during an interval of a BBC Promenade concert. The portico used to be open, but was glassed in some years ago as an extension of the foyers with a bar.
