Drain clearance at Craven Cottage
Not a lot of other activity at the ground. This scene is at the southeastern corner; the junction of Finlay Street with Stevenage Road (the main road past the stadium) is on the right, On the left, with the words "The Fulham Football Club" on the gable end, can be seen the Pavilion, built in "1905 to the design of Archibald Leitch. Eclectic style with Queen Anne Revival features ... the only surviving pavilion in a senior British football club" http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-201947-office-to-south-of-grandstand-at-fulham- , and dubbed "The Cottage", although the cottage orné that gave the ground its name has long disappeared. Ogive gables surmount the wall containing the entrances to the stands.

The cottage at Craven Cottage
This cottage was designed by architect Archibald Leach and built in 1904. The original cottage which stood round about the ground's centre spot was a hunting lodge. This was mysteriously destroyed by fire in 1888.

Craven Cottage; Fulham Football Ground.
The occasion, I am reliably informed, of a "pre-season friendly between Glasgow Celtic and Fulham", hence the long range shot.
